XOXO
Setting his work apart, Odeh’s bold brushstrokes, vivid color variations, and complex compositions create a world that’s vivid and abstract despite its simplicity. His perception of reality is projected outwardly through his creative acts of blending his daydreams with his careful observations of love and hatred.
Odeh taps into conflicting themes in life through abstraction, and no one deserves half of anything. His technique outlines this central theme in his work. He uses the smallest amount of colors and bold brush strokes to clarify an aversion towards rigid reality and instead create a more abstract and dream-like depiction of physical existence. Made up mostly of self-portraits, Odeh provides us with a deep look at the world and himself through his eyes.
Odeh mixes themes of love, hatred, abandonment, tragedy, and the complex behavior of human beings with his lived reality, creating an abstract world of fantasy and parody.
