Some moments move through us like light through water — barely felt, barely named — their weight concealed until they are already behind us. We live them without ceremony, without knowing we are living them, until the absence arrives and we find ourselves reaching back for something we never thought to hold.
This piece grows out of that nostalgia, the quiet ache of reaching back to a moment whose meaning only became clear in its absence. Drawing becomes an act of return, a way of sitting with what was felt but not yet understood.
