'Children of Gaza' is a series of prints on the power of imagery and the persistence of hope.
After the Israeli incursion of Gaza in December 2008, Anthony Dawton, Jim McFarlane & Giuseppe Aquili entered Gaza with the support of Save the Children to photograph what they saw.
This artwork from 'Images from a Trapped City' (2011) is a series of photographic collaborations with Giuseppe Acquilli, Anthony Dawton, and Jim McFarlane. The photographs were taken by the three photographers in Gaza in 2010 and reworked by Azzawi to create colorful giclee prints as a tribute to the children of Gaza.
