Biography
(Iraqi, b. 1976)
An Iraqi artist, based in Amman, Jordan, whose work explores the human face as a site where memory, emotion, and lived experience converge.
An early influence on her work emerged from teaching children in a remote village near Mosul, where the contrast between childhood and the weight of responsibility
left a lasting impression.
Their faces, marked by vulnerability, resilience, and quiet
strength, continue to echo throughout her practice.
